Our Projects

The Repair Café

Repair Cafe Maidenhead logo

Going from strength to strength since being set up 2 years ago and now relocating to the ECO Action Hub from March, the Repair Café is all about the importance of make-do-and-mend for sustainable living.

Learn new skills, meet new people and create the habit of repairing and reusing things. Repair skills available in the hub include:

  • textiles, sewing
  • woodwork, dolls, toys
  • small electrical items, such as vacuums (excludes microwaves)

We aim to fix anything, our volunteers love to solve problems! Check out our Facebook and Instagram to find out what we have been fixing.

Pre-book a free ticket by clicking ‘Register’ on our Eventbrite page.

Alternatively, email us on repair.maidenhead@gmail.com.

The Library of Things – an update!

We’re currently building our team, our approach and our ‘operational model’: we will be ready to tell you a lot more about our ‘Library of Things’ very soon: please look here for all updates.

Why buy, when you can borrow?

Have the DraughtBusters team draught-proof your home and save you money. DraughtBusters are a team of experienced volunteers who want to help people with draughty homes. We will fix your draughts and give you advice on how to save money around your home. All free – do not hesitate to get in touch with us, preferably by email rbwmdraughtbusters@gmail.com or phone 07548 594413 and leave a message.
